Public Involvement

The Corridor Study project team has been working with federal, state, regional and local agencies to help identify the best alternatives to address the congestion in the corridor. Public involvement also plays an important role in the project’s success, and the project team will be engaging the public by implementing the following activities:

  • Community Meetings – The project team is seeking opportunities to meet with community and civic associations and similar groups to discuss the project and address questions and concerns of the local communities.
  • Public Meetings – Meetings will be held at key stages in the project planning process to identify and address the concerns of the public.
  • Informational Materials – Project materials will be developed as needed to be distributed to interested citizens and others who are on the project mailing list.
